AI is So Cool

I work at Netlify and while I love our platform, I’m not a big fan of what I’ve come to call “color tinged backgrounds”. I use dark mode everywhere and backgrounds with a “color” to them irks me. I think that I first noticed this with Anthropic’s Claude tools with their brown tinged backgrounds.

As I was working on this here website, I was staring at the console and it dawned on me that I can fix this in thirty seconds with the clanker.

Once that’s done, go to chrome://extension and Load Unpacked. Find the project directory and open - poof, your very own “thing” that fixed a “problem” just for you. A year and a half ago, this would have been much more of a hassle. I could have figured it out, but it’s such a small, non-important thing that I would never have even attempted it, but in this new world we’re living in, you can just do things.
